The Prosci certified Senior Change Manager’s role is to manage organizational change and promote end-user adoption. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance. The change manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
While the change manager may or may not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work with many stakeholders in the organizational hierarchy to succeed. The change manager will act as an advisor for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill project goals. The change manager may also provide direct support and advising to all levels of stakeholders through transitions. The change manager will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.

- Change management for a global portfolio management office’s strategic initiatives in a data center, retrofit construction, asset-intensive environment.
- Engaging sponsors, employees, and users to shape, plan, facilitate, and deliver lasting business readiness and change on a global scale.
- Analyzing business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Developing and implementing innovative change management plans and materials, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training.
Responsibilities:
- Applying Prosci 3-phase process and ADKAR model to develop and implement change plans.
- Developing strong audience-focused messaging to achieve alignment on proposed changes.
- Measuring success progress by defining benefits realization requirements, developing a data collection plan, and tracking trends and risks.
- Documenting, interpreting, and communicating the results of efforts.
- Planning, executing and evaluating business transformation using change management tools such as change impact and readiness assessments; power and influence mapping; threats and opportunities matrix; stakeholder analysis; communications plans; knowledge, skills and behavior assessments, training plans, etc.
- Communicating plans and insights effectively to cross-functional team members and managers.
- Working closely with central team to manage change management related activities, including meeting facilitation, stakeholder management, internal task management and planning.
- Providing training, coaching, and guidance to team and stakeholders arising from work.
- Facilitating and managing user acceptance testing with new system tools.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
- Must have experience in a Data Center or Substation Portfolio Planning / Capital Planning, or Construction environment, preferably working on a global program.
- Prosci Change Practitioner certification or other Change Management certification is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in an organizational change management construction position.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Exceptional data analysis skills.
- The ability to articulate and demonstrate personal and business behaviors that aim to create a green, inclusive, and productive world.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- High competency in flow diagram, planning, presentations and documentation.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence skills, including self- and relationship management and self- and social awareness.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
The salary range for this full-time role is $135K-$160K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
