Profile description: Automation QA Engineer
Developer profile: We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design and maintain test automation frameworks for our API and microservices-based applications. This role is ideal for an experienced Software Engineer in Test who thrives in high-volume transaction environments and is passionate about continuous improvement in test automation.
Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain robust test automation suites for APIs and applications.

Develop and execute component tests for APIs and microservices.

Define, track, and report on automation test metrics and KPIs.

Continuously optimize test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Technical requirements:
-
4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on API and microservices testing.

Strong automation skills with expertise in Jest TS, Postman, JMeter, and Cucumber/Gherkin.

Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Apigee, and cloud-based testing.

Solid knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and automation frameworks.

Ability to analyze test automation effectiveness and refine testing strategies accordingly.

Hands-on experience in working with Cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform preferred).

Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work in a distributed team.

Ability to work with software vendors to evaluate new tools and technologies.
